The food pages are about what we do to eat a less processed diet, and how, in our case this fits with our environmental aims, and ethical ideals.
Follow our ideas if you want to, but they are just that, our ideas. As such they are not based on any scientific study.
At the end of the day if you really want a burger and fries go and have it, savour it, enjoy it, then do what you do to stay healthy again. Its only one burger don’t beat yourself up about it. Lets face it one burger probably won’t kill you!
We try to follow a mixed diet our key words where food is concerned is ‘eat a rainbow’ by this we mean a balanced diet of meat / other proteins, vegetables, fats, and fruit. Nothing is banned, everything is on the menu as long as it is wholesome, as sustainably sourced as possible, and as natural as we can find.
We avoid, ready meals, ultra processed foods (including supermarket milk), artificial sweeteners, and palm oil. We also avoid plastic packaging preferring to buy from small suppliers.
Of course sometimes we have to compromise, when we do we accept it as a necessary situation and work to find a solution.
